Description
This makes the for the 3rd year in a row that my mom *Tazzy- and I have gotten a chance to watch and take photos of a Cicada hatching. This year was a bit different though. It was hatching in broad daylight. 
mom got me up about 20 minutes before 8 am and I stumbled out of bed and got my stuff together to shoot this little bugger. They are so pretty when they first hatch out.

i found one of these today in my backyard while searching for some to let my dog play with/eat. it had just hatched AND IT WAS ADORABLE. it crawled all over my hand and kept going towards my face when i moved to look at it from different angles. there was no way i could have given it to my dog <3
