My Ladybug!

My ladybug would like to remind you that I am here to help you guys not to make your lives miserable. To hear this straight from my squeaky ladybug buddy please click on the following link [link] :giggle:

Alright in all seriousness concerning the current situations please note that flaming my page is absolutely unnecessary to get my attention. As I stated in the Status Post I put up in our Status Forum we are listening to all of you who have questions, comments, and concerns about the changes that took place with the image submission process and what will be happening in the future with how deviations will be displayed. I mentioned that a formal announcement would be posted to explain these changes so everyone can better understand what is going on and hopefully provide some assurance that what is happening is simply for the best. In the mean time we have rolled back to how the submission process was originally. We'll continue to work on this project so that it better serves the entire community. Again, our apologies to those we upset. :huggle:

Thank you!

I'm just waking up and see that my message centre has exploded once again :wow: only this time with absolute love as much as I'd love to reply to each and every one of you to thank you for taking the time to outweigh all the nasty flamming but today is a busy day so I'd like to thank you all right here. I truly appreciate it you all made my week that seemed like a never ending case of the mondays end on a better note. :tighthug: On today's agenda I'll be mailing about 4 dozen out of the approximately 8 dozen cran orange cookies I made yesterday :faint: lots of cookies :o and one of my cousins is having a graduation party  and maybe I'll get some time in to help my mom *Tazzy- on her flowerbed brick project :eager: she has painted bricks white and is painting ladybugs on them  and they will lining the edge of the front yard flowerbed :excited: so far the ones we have worked on look SUPER cute! :aww: I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Holy crap. Evanita been busy.

And who's flaming you? :paranoid:

I shall set after them with a suit of marshmallows and a hunting rifle (vague book reference ftw!) and tell them to knock it off.

Please do not mention Ladybugs :please: ~ I am not sure how it happens but on a daily basis, year-around, I get Ladybugs in my bedroom. They fall off the ceiling onto my pillow, crawl around, get on tissues, huddle under covers.... I have rather expensive triple-pane windows. How the bugs :bug: get in I have no idea but they are, somehow, coming in to seek warmth in the winter but really just come in to die. Ewww. My window sill is full of them. One time I had to have my husband get the little sweeper to sweep up several dozen and let them back loose outside. It is just weird. Anyhoo, I would rather NOT think about Ladybugs.

:giggle: I have been informed the "Ladybugs" are look-alikes and are actually an Asian beetle! :faint: :bug:

Maybe I can help you here... btw, those are NOT ladybugs, ladybugs do not swarm. They are a lookalike. They are probably more orange than bright red. Yes, they are destructive. Go to your local pet store, and buy a flea bomb (Fogger). Follow the instructions on the package. If you have an attic, they are probably breeding up there, so set a bug bomb off there as well.
The other advantage to this is that it will also get rid of spiders and cockroaches in the house. The insecticide used is natural, and the residue is not harmful to pets or humans, or house plants.

I'll be darn... I didn't realize there was a bug that looks so much like another bug... plus, I wondered why I would get the bugs year around. I cannot get into the attic myself so I would have to hire an exterminator. There is a passage in the back corner of a closet that is near-impossible to get into but some young, skinny person would probably be able to.

I have used a defogger's before when cleaning a garage that hadn't been cleaned in ages. It was covered in spiders and a few spiders survived but an awful lot of bugs died.

I can see where the bugs are getting in. They are so small they crawl between the windows. I have those pull-in-style windows and there is just enough of a gap to interest the little pests!

I like Seventh Generation products. I've used them for years. I have a lot of allergies and for the longest time Seventh Generation was the only detergent I could use.

Well, the reason I suggested the Flea fogger is that it's made from the base chemical that's in the chrysanthemum. It's very safe to use and biologically breaks down well.

All you would have to do is set the fogger off and set it in the opening, you wouldn't really have to go in the attic.

actually ladybugs can swarm ;) they like to go into people's homes during the cold season to hibernate :) also the orange ladybugs people are seeing in the US are an asian variety that are a species of ladybug there are several species. They were introduced into localized areas as pest control. That article you linked to seems to be misleading as they are ladybugs and the ones that are native to the united states can be found in homes as well. Check out wikipedia ^_^
