Our New Sugar Gliders (Now with Videos)

Journal Entry: Sun Dec 5, 2010, 8:28 PM

Momo and Petrie

Over the past couple months Linhart (~Cryosis) and I have been researching getting Sugar Gliders for pets. We were lucky enough to meet some local Sugar Glider owners and go to a Sugar Glider Gathering where we learned a lot about them and were able to hold and pet them for the first time. Absolutely irresistible for sure! After much consideration we have purchased two gliders from Tracy a local breeder. We have named them Momo and Petrie and we met them last Sunday. Needless to say their cuteness has captured our hearts and we look forward to welcoming them into our home sometime around Christmas.

It takes a lot of imagination to be a good photographer. In photography, everything can be so ordinary, it takes a lot of looking before you learn to see the extraordinary.

I had no idea. It was a new one on me. So tiny and so cute. Reminds me of a Raccoon except waaaaayyyyyyyyy smaller.

It depends on what state you are in. Some states require paperwork while others don't.. and some states it is illegal such as California.

As long as I get them within the state no paperwork necessary :)
