FAQ Revamp PT3

Another busy week for the FAQ Revamp. Some new FAQs have been added and we removed quite a large number of FAQs, but have no fear the majority of the information removed was actually merged to create more beneficial FAQs or it was completely obsolete. Since the beginning of our project we have removed a total of 42 FAQs and added in 15.

The following are some of the things we have worked on this week.

Under My Account the section "My Earnings" has been added and three brand new FAQs have been created. FAQ 123 has been relocated here.

FAQ #97: How can I see how much money I've made?
FAQ #98: Can I cancel a check after it has already been processed?
FAQ #99: What should I do if I never received the check I requested from My Earnings?
FAQ #123: When will I receive my earnings check?

The deviantART>News section has been completely removed as none of them were relevant anymore

deviantFilm section was reviewed

Merged FAQ 671, 760, 761, 858, 863, 868, 869, 865 into a single FAQ to match up with the Collection Folders equivalent
FAQ #762: What is the Gallery Folders Feature and how do I use it?
FAQ #6: What is the Collections Feature and how do I use it?

Mergd FAQ 866 into FAQ #864: How can I add or remove deviations from my Featured Gallery section.

Merged FAQ 22 into FAQ #21: Where can I obtain the source files for the deviantART Mascot, Logo, and User Symbols?
This FAQ was also updated with the most up to date file sources.

Screenshots have been added to FAQ #6: What is the Collections Feature and how do I use it?

We've had a lot of great feedback in the past two articles. Thanks so much to everyone who's taken the time to leave some feedback. We are almost done reviewing all of the FAQs within our area and then we'll be cross checking each other's FAQs to make sure everything is completely up to date and include beneficial links where possible. We still have numerous FAQs we will be adding screnshots to so keep an eye out for those. We'd also like to expand the Direct Help Desk category links to CEA and Retail related FAQs. :)

I can't download action zip files! for example: cannot connect to while IDM is still good for other sites!

i have to be honest I really dont like the larger thumbnails and I'm told I'm not the only one who doesnt like it. the smaller thumbnails were much smarter.

This article is not the place to discuss such. If you have any complaints you can address them to the HQ article concerning this new feature.

Added to the HQ section of #DevNews posting on the 18th.

Thanks for the reminder about converting my print sale to points. When I first got the notice, my account had not been credited yet, so, of course, I forgot all about it!

And, thanks so much for combining FAQs. There were times I would choose a FAQ then it would lead to another FAQ.... :ohmygod: then another... :giggle:
