Last year I participated in Earth Hour, a single hour that was spread across the world. It truly was an amazing event and I hope that more will participate this year! In United States alone nearly 100 cities, towns, and communities have pledged to "turn out"! Globally more than 1,400 cities are turning off their lights including 9 out of the top 10 cities in the world by population

I've had the pleasure of talking with Kuba ~HeWhoWalksWithTigers about his journal concerning saving Snow Leopards through the Snow Leopard Trust. If you could please take the time to read his journal concerning saving Snow Leopards and that would be wonderful

Currently the Snow Leopard Trust is asking for people to sign up for their eNews and for each new subscriber the Kearsley Fund will donate $2 to the Snow Leopard Trust. Their goal is 3000 new subscribers so they can help donate up to $6000 for snow leopard conservation!

I have been fortunate to see these beautiful cats in person. They truly are remarkable and it's sad to see their numbers dwindling but with hope their numbers may again rise
