This is Suci. She is the 2nd Sumatran Rhino to be born at the Cincinnati Zoo. Her older brother was the first calf to be born in captivity in over 112 years. Her Parents Emi and Ipuh are part of a world wide breeding program in order to save this species. There are an estimated 150-300 left in the world. Suci will be 2 years old at the end of this July and she's an estimated 600 lbs.

i love this picture. by the way could i use the pic?? cuz i have this project about sumatran rhinoceros and i could put pics. i think that this one is the best picture of a sumatran rhino in DA. I want to spread the news to people to prevent these sumatran rhinos from extinction. so could i??
