This is part of my Experimental Photography class. This process is called VanDyke Brown. It involves printing out enlarged negatives on Pictorico Transfer paper, coating watercolor paper with VanDyke Emulsion, putting the negative on the paper and exposing with Sunlight (UV), and lastely rinse/fixer/rinse. It's a great process especially since you get to see it happening in the sunlight. For more information visit Alternative Photography

This went straight to my favorites. I love wolves and K9es, Grew up with wolves, my dad had them. The Photo in itself is really good.
The process is really interesting, and the tonal range together with the wolve, makes me think about First Nations North Americans and their respect for nature.
Great work. It moves me, touches me.

I really like the browns in it and that old vintage look; you've also used a good negative depicting the animal and with the tonal range of brown it reminds me of old indian work or something of the likes. :D
