Several years ago a friend of my dad's gave me the bracelet on the right. I asked her about it and she said she had bought it several years prior to giving it to me, from a native american. I had always been fond of these sorts of bracelets, but had never ventured upon doing something as complex as this one. I decided last spring to give it a go and spent a few days trying to figure how the bracelet was made. I then reworked the design and spent I believe 5 days on all the knotting and braiding.
The original bracelet is at least 10 years old and is quite worn out.
Long time ago i made few bracelet like yours.Unfortunately i give all to my friends and one which i save for me i throw away last year(was so worn out)Now i try to figure how i was made that and my brain is blank
awww yea when you haven't made them in a long time it can be difficult to remember how to make them. Here is a website I find quite handy. [link] I hope it helps you
WOW! when i make bracelets i use a pattern map. I could never manage to copy another bracelet from scratch!could u possibly post a picture of it flat? i was wondering what it looked like on the other side. don't worry if it's too much trouble xx
