At Binder Park you'll see quite a few Giraffes doing this and even laying down which in the wild is rare for them to do. The only time Giraffes bend over like this is to get water. To see them like this at Binder means they have great trust in the environment there in because they are very vunerable in this position.

Thanks for the comment =) If a giraffe were to do this in the wild it would be very easy to predators to gang up on it to attack it since its guard is down. Seeing a Giraffe like this at a zoo is very good to see since it means that it feels very comfortable with its environment and knows that nothing will come to harm it :nod:

Binder Park is awesome it has a 18 acre safari area for these Giraffe and other african animals to roam around :nod:
