This is the fourth in a series of 10 images that I am creating for my senior project. The series is called "Butterfly Flowers". This is a hibiscus with the scales of a
Paper Kite Idea leuconoe overlaying the petals. The Paper Kite is native to South East Asia.

Detail ImageThe Process:Flowers taken in my studio with my 40D+100mm macro and strobe lighting with a black fabric background.
The RAW files are adjusted and converted to jpg.
The butterflies were taken in RAW as well at the Butterfly House in Whitehouse Ohio with the 300D+100 mm macro and 500D filter
The flowers and butterflies are then combined in Photoshop.
The final images will be printed on dA canvas with "Butterfly I" as a 16 by 20 and the rest as 11 by 14.
